Julie Wood

I did my first photo shoot with model when I was 13 years old, in 1974. My father was to start up a new series of comic strips, devoted to motorcycling and whose heroine would be: Julie Wood. For his drawings, he needed photos of a tall beautiful blonde on a motorbike, and in different positions. With my Kodak Instamatic which I had received for my birthday, I of course volunteered for the job. The Belgian pilot Philippe Chaltin supplied us with the model and the motorbike, a dazzling Kawasaki Z900. With my father’s convertible in the background, this photo embodies everything which made my generation dream on. Not bad, the ‘70s, uh ?
