Jean-Marc Barr

Just like you, I knew about « the little French guy », the prized actor of both Luc Besson and Lars von Trier, who became a scriptwriter and director, but I never knew about the photographer. Having come out of the water after The Big Blue, Jean Marc Barr continues his evolution on land, in front of or behind the lens. Often that of a Leica M6, by the way, that never leaves his side and that he loads with Ilford Pan-F in 50 ISO. It goes to say that this philosopher believes in Enlightenment. Judging by his photos, his luminaries are happy to comply.

Now showing at the Galerie Basia Embiricos in Paris, until April 25th.
