Man is made to dream, set sail, dare, seduce, love, create, discover, conquer, race, fight, build. These are our verbs. Action, conquest, spirit, gallantry, courage, friendship, these are our words. Watch screens, push shopping carts, pay to piss, don’t take risk, no self-defence, accept anything, sacrifice it all for security and comfort, wall-to-wall fear, here is what this society instils in us. To have us live sub-lives is to fashion us into sub-humans.
