Jay parmi les hommes
Jay parmi les hommes
There was more than one revelation at last night’s preview of “Jay parmi les hommes” (“Jay Amongst Men”), Zeno’s short film. First of all, that Judith Williquet is royal, even when dragged down into a boat’s hold, in the grease. Not to mention Anton Leurquin, spotted on the street, Porte de Hal in Brussels, not even a comedian, but a born actor. With stupefying credibility, he embodies Jay, a fourteen-year-old who’s convinced that he’s got to find himself a girlfriend to gain his father’s respect. That father being played by Arieh Worthalter who reveals glimpses of such depth that we can hardly believe that he is an actor. And finally, for the team that my son was able to muster up, there can only be admiration for their talent and mastership.
