I spent the evening with a black sheriff, a butterfingered surgeon, an itchy guard from Buckingham, Spanish torture victims buried alive, a priapic Scotsman, a homicidal nurse, a Flemish guy high on space cakes, a professor getting chatted up by a high school girl, French tourists on the lookout for authentic Belgians, a bunch of hard porn stars, a night shop owner from Quebec and a few Easter rabbits. Where? At the France -v- Belgium Improv League match, brilliantly orchestrated by Xavier Dujardin. The next time I get the blues, I know where to go.
